Welcome to my personal website!
My name is Yousif Al Saif and I am a software developer currently

the linux world. My research interests include Machine Learning,
Adaptive Software, Neural Netwoks, and anything related to Artificial

distributed computing, memory management and performance optimization to name a few off the
top of my head.
I studied Psychology at the University of Kent at Canterbury,
UK and
Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire at
Hatfield, UK.
I currently
hold a MSc in Computer Science and several Microsoft Certifications
relating to software development. My Master's thesis was entitled "Word distribution vs. trigrams: A comparative study on Bayesian-based spam filter"
When I'm not writing software, I enjoy reading especially on matters
relating to psychology, philosophy, politics, and history. I also like
writing whenever I have the time to do so. I also enjoy
photography and I plan on buying a SLR camera very soon -
probably a Canon :).
Fun things I plan on doing before I'm 40 (not in a particular order):
- Fly a plane on my own
- Ride a racing motorbike
- Own a boat and go fishing on it.
- Live near the sea.
- Write a book.
- Do a Phd.
- Visit New York, California, Tokyo, and Sydney
